Lismore Profile

The Lismore range of Speyside single malts and blends takes its name from a Hebridean island, though it has no history of legal distilling. Originally created by William Lundie & Co., the brand is now bottled by Glenfarclas owner J&G Grant using the same recipes handed down from the Lundie family.

Today, the collection features a wide spectrum of expressions. This includes single malts from non-age-statement (NAS) up to 21 years old, blended Scotches at various ages, and limited editions like a sherry-matured 21-year-old Legend and a NAS Cask Strength bottling.

The Lundie family name has been synonymous with whisky broking for generations, with trading roots dating back to 1904. The business was formally established as R.D. Lundie & Co. in 1932.

A sister company, William Lundie & Co., was later formed and evolved from a broker to bottling its own blends, including Lismore. In 2004, the company was sold to J&G Grant, owners of Glenfarclas distillery, who now produce the Lismore range.
